Simple Syrup

An easy to make simple syrup for any cocktails, coffee or sweet iced tea!

Equipment

  • 1 bottle

Materials

  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Measure 1 cup granulated white sugar and 1 cup water
  • Place ingredients into a small saucepan and turn on low heat.
  • Whisk syrup until sugar has full dissolved. You don't want the syrup to boil, just warm up long enough for the sugar to dissolve.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Using a funnel, pour simple syrup into a glass jar. I like to use these BORMIOLO ROCCO GLASS JARS to store my syrups in.
  • Store in fridge for up to 14 days.
