I don’t know how many times I have gone to make my morning green smoothie, only to find that recently purchased bag of kale or spinach, all shriveled up, or even worse, all slimy! It seems to happen quite frequently at my house, unfortunately.
If you don’t already know, you can easily save all that spinach you were about to toss, blend it all up and pop into the freezer. No more money down the drain. I know I don’t want to keep buying those bags for my green smoothie habit.
WHAT YOU NEED
– Blender
– Ice tray(s)
– Spinach, Kale or any other leafy greens
– water or coconut water
Here is my blender, a VITAMIX A3500 ASCENT SERIES in white. Includes Touchscreen control, built in wireless connectivity, 5 program settings for smoothies/soups/dips/frozen desserts/self cleaning. It is on the spendy side, but it’s the price you pay for a good, quality blender that will last you a lifetime.
It took me several years to make that decision to spend the money on a Vitamix. I previously used a Ninja. I was tired of having bits & pieces of food in my smoothie. The consistency and texture was just not there with the Ninja.
So, here I am. Happy as can be with my Vitamix, which I highly recommend. I will never go back to any other brand. Period.

We always have coconut water, so this is what I use as my liquid. I guess you can call these COCONUT WATER SPINACH CUBES, or COCONUT WATER SPINACH SMOOTHIE BOMBS. Why not use coconut water where you can, so may good benefits of this stuff.
