If you have extra spinach you have saved in the freezer, that works well in these smoothies. You can get a quick tip here on how to store unused spinach for later use.
Benefits of a Green Smoothie:
Why choose a green smoothie as your go-to morning beverage? Here are just a few reasons:
– Nutrient-rich: Packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants from the leafy greens and fruits.
– Digestive support: The fiber content aids in digestion and promotes a healthy gut.
– Energy boost: The natural sugars from the fruits provide a quick source of energy, while the protein helps to sustain it.
– Hydration: With the addition of a liquid, green smoothies help keep you hydrated throughout the day.
Ingredients
Banana – This can be fresh or frozen. If you use a frozen banana, your smoothie will be more on the thicker side. I like to use bananas that are not too ripe.
Sweet Pineapple – This can also be fresh or frozen, but if you’re using fresh cut pineapple, your smoothie will be on the thinner side.
Spinach – Can replace with kale or another favorite leafy green
Coconut Water – I prefer to use Vita Coco Pressed Coconut Water if i have some in stock. Otherwise, water is just as good. Just need that liquid to smooth up the other chunky ingredients.

Instructions
Step 1. Place all ingredients into a high powered blender (I use Vitamix A3500 Ascent)
Step 2. Blend until smooth
Step 3. Pour into your favorite smoothie glass (I like these good old fashioned quart size mason jars)
Step 4. ENJOY!
